I’m to be the guest tomorrow on Tim Wildmon’s “Today’s Issues” show, 10:10-10:30 a.m. Central Time, on American Family Radio, which you can listen to online at http://www.afr.net . I have not been able to train my voice to sound like Basil Rathbone’s or Charlton Heston’s, so I’ll just have to go with my own. Yeesh.
I know the topic is to be my books, the Bell Mountain series of fantasy novels. But I’ve never yet had any radio host tell me in advance what questions he or she is going to ask me, so it’ll all have to be off the top of my head. If I get caught flat-footed and have to answer “Homina-homina,” you have my excuse.
If you think being on 200 radio stations at once to speak extemporaneously about your books, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, is a no-pressure situation, just try it sometime. Me, I’ve got the heeby-jeebies.
Not knowing what the questions are going to be, I have absolutely no idea what I’m going to say tomorrow! But if I can’t talk about these books, who can?

I just listened to your interview on AFR and it was great! I had never heard of you nor your books but I am intrigued and will search out more information on your website. I especially appreciated your answer to Tim when he asked “Where to you get these stories, just out of the air?” I am not a writer but I do believe God gives us what He has for us to say. My daughter has written some songs and she answered my inquiries as to how she was able to do that very similarly to your reply to Tim. God not only gave her the lyrics but the melody as well. I am amazed. I really enjoyed hearing what you had to say. Thank you!

I used to co-host a Christian Talk Show on Friday afternoons for two hours called “The News Brothers,” and our theme song intro was from the Blues Brothers which said “They’re on a mission from God.” When I first started doing it I was very nervous but after a while it was an adrenaline rush. I think of the words of Jesus such as “You have to lose your life to find it,” and “The Holy Spirit will give you what to say.”
I wish I could have heard it!
It lasted for three years until the radio station was sold and it now plays rap crap. A third News Brother was added later, Dr. Dave the chiropractor. Both Dr. Dave and Steve Duignan, who did the show M-TH, have passed away. Steve’s wife keeps his website page up an running in his honor at http://www.talktosteve.com

I’ve just only come back to this page from youtube, where I was selecting a hymn. And before I saw your request, I had loaded a hymn for posting–“Blessed Assurance”!
Yesterday “Unknowable” had, earlier that day, watched the same cat video I selected for posting that evening–the identical one out of thousands.
