Bring Crosby and David Bowie Sing ‘The Little Drummer Boy’… Together

All right, a reader asked for this, so here it is–Bing Crosby and David Bowie performing together.

It should be borne in mind that Bing Crosby kept his voice right to the end. I was surprised to see how well he and David Bowie harmonized. Almost shocking to see that David Bowie actually understood and practiced music. Which goes to show you what 21st century music is like.

So, Ina, this one’s for you.

  1. This is my favorite Christmas carol of all time. I really enjoyed that Christmas special and thought Bing Crosby was very cool for having David Bowie on his show.

  2. I guess I’m in the minority here, but I really don’t like ‘Little Drummer Boy’. For me it’s way too saccharine; it makes me cringe. Sorry 🙁 It’s nothing against anyone who does like it.

If you’re not too mad at me, I’d like to request In the Bleak Midwinter 😀

  3. well, I must admit that was a pleasant surprise. It certainly wasn’t what I would’ve expected from David Bowie.
Another suggestion, if it’s okay, Lee: O Little Town Of Bethlehem.
