I need a hymn today. Here’s one I hadn’t heard before–Where He Leads I’ll Follow, with auto-harp, ukelele, and violin, courtesy of Nathan and Lyle in Denton County, Texas. I don’t know who is the lady with the violin, but she has a wonderful voice.
I’m supposed to write a News With Views column today, and I don’t have even a ghost of an idea for one. Somewhere around here, there’s a cardinal piping away for all he’s worth: he’s got more to say than I do.
Maybe I ought to let him write the column.
Thank you, Lee. What a wonderfully happy hymn. I’ve never heard this one either, and this lady sure does have a beautiful voice.
The problem with knowing what to write about these days is there’s too many topics to choose from. Everywhere we look, there’s something. Here’s a huge topic for you: write about how New Age has overtaken Christianity. That’s a terrifying problem.
See my articles on paganism in the Protestant churches–they’re in the blog archives.
Indeed, and the problem is growing by leaps and bounds. And the Laodicean Church Age we’re living in with the serving of pablum in the pulpits, which the people applaud, promotes this heresy. Babylon America is here.
Lee, I always enjoy and appreciate your columns, so be encouraged and ask the Lord what He would suggest, Cardinals, I have always enjoyed listening to as well, but never learned a great deal except just enjoyment of what the Lord has provided.
Blessings
A great old hymn. That young lady does have a beautiful voice.
Can you find “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms”?
and “Standing on the Promises”?
I’ve posted “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms” a couple of times already, so let me see if I can find “Standing on the Promises.”
