I’m still groggy from the allergy attack, which has abated but not let go, so I put Patty on the spot to select a hymn for this morning. I knew she’d pick this one, because I know it’s one of her favorites–Beautiful Savior, here sung by the congregation at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church in Scottsdale, AZ, with Dr. Homer Ferguson III on the organ.
People sometimes ask why we show so many nature photographs with hymns.
Because all of Creation testifies to its Creator! Nature’s beauties are God’s witnesses. “God is nigh! God is nigh!” That’s what they want to tell us, if we did but listen.
Thank you, Lee and Patty. Beautiful and serene.
Lee, glad to hear your allergy attack is subsiding.
I’m not sure how to do this, but maybe this will work.

You will really like this, Lee. There is a woman playing bagpipes.
If I can make it work, I’ll post it! I love bagpipes as much as my cats hate them.
