Cats can have fun with just about anything, including snow. You can grab snowflakes on their way down, or try to catch them in your mouth before they hit the ground, or pounce on them after they hit. They call it joie de vivre. Or they would call it that, if cats spoke French.
What amazing little creatures these are. Definitely a special gift from a loving God. I don’t know that my cat has ever seen snow, so she was unimpressed and probably wondered why these video cats were being so silly. 🙂
Well, how far are you from the town of Snowflake, AZ? They’ve gotta have some there. Take kitty for a day trip.
Snowflake is a ways away; it’s considerably farther than my cat is willing to travel. if I ever moved, I’d have to get sedatives from the vet.
I live in a higher elevation area, so snow is not unknown here, in fact I got stuck in my own driveway by a freak storm that came up while I was at work and left four inches in the span of about 30 minutes. I don’t think that the cat even noticed. She was rescued from being a stray and has decided that the indoor life is just fine. 🙂
Mine aren’t allowed outside. The way people drive around here, it’s a miracle the humans can get across the street without being run over.
Same rule in my house, but coyotes, rattlesnakes and javelina are the threats.
