What strikes me about this is just how deeply this cuts into the very structure of civilization. God created us male and female and that statement, as written in Genesis, used to seem redundant: I don’t see it as redundant anymore.
Once gender becomes a nebulous concept culture loses one of its anchors. There are people out there with very real gender-identity issues and I don’t seek to persecute them. However, that doesn’t mean that I am willing to voluntarily participate in their issues. I will, and do, treat such persons with respect, but I’m still who I am and I’m not about to abandon, or even reduce, my gender identity for the sake of someone else’s self indentity.
There are undoubtedly more people out there pushing transgender booshwa than there are “transgendered persons.”
Kinda like Nazi Germany. Most German citizens weren’t committed Nazis, but they were taken in by, and abetted, the Nazi propaganda.
