What We’ve Won

It was significant that the very first act of Donald Trump’s new presidential administration, literally within seconds of his swearing-in, was to delete from the White House website every single mention of Climate Change/Global Warming/Whatevuh.

What does this mean?

It may take some time to sink in, but it means a lot! It is the axe taken to the root of secular utopianism. It is the tanks rolling into town and chasing out the barbarians.

Global Warming, aka we’re-all-gonna-die-unless-we-give-the-government-absolute-power-and-all-our-money, very early on became a Leftist/Globalist political project worldwide. It was aimed at eventually imposing a world government, run by leftist schmucks, on the entire human race. Just look at who’s been pushing it, all along, and you’ll know everything you need to know about it.

But it is also part of something bigger. Saving The Planet From Climate Change is genetically akin to the transgender movement and other loony liberal causes: the whole idea of special individuals having the power–and the authority, backed up by the violence of the government–to define reality. Suddenly Schmendrick is not a man anymore, but a woman without a vagina. And if you don’t give lip service to his delusion, your friendly “human rights” commission will smash you.

God has given us an opportunity, a genuinely God-given opportunity, to crush and bury “progressivism” once and for all. They can’t carry out their vast global enterprises without the United States. And now, by God’s grace, there is suddenly a president in America whose example will encourage opposition everywhere.

Shame on us if we wimp out of finishing the work!

  1. You are so right. We can not fail to do our part in this gargantuan battle, or we will have no one to blame but ourselves. Pray first, get our King’s leading, then obey. It is our time to prove what we are made of now that the trash is being removed.

  2. Lee, I listened to Mr Trump’s inaugural speech and I so was heartened to hear God several times. God has given us a blessing. Lots of what is now taken for granted by people who look for government handouts will be looked at more closely. The American worker will be getting more attention now. People are “protesting” not because they think Trump will destroy America but because many who are on public assistance and really don’t need it will have to go to work.

    1. That’s true, Marge, but it also goes deeper than that. Trump has threatened the entire liberal enterprise, their whole vision for the world. And it’s about time somebody did!

  3. Climate change is a very big part of Satan’s agenda. It’s adherents defend it with zeal that would be the envy of any tent revivalist and ears close completely if you dare to question their conclusions. I’m glad that someone is standing up to it. (Keep in mind that even George W. Bush, finally capitulated on this issue.)

I’m thankful that there was a relatively smooth transition of power. I was far from certain that would be the case. The struggle is only beginning and I wouldn’t be surprised by much of anything. I believe our God will bless efforts in a positive direction, but I fear that the US will become a land divided, at least to the point that life may be difficult in some places for those that refuse to go along with the left’s agenda.

I truly would not want to live in California, or several other left leaning states right now. I have seen my home state of Colorado go from a near Promised Land to a place of hyper inflated real estate prices, paltry wages and people walking the streets stoned on pot. I pray for the people trapped in those sorts of places.

Ideally, 2017 will end up like 1981, and America will find its conscience, find its decency and find its soul, once again. I delight at the very thought. But I don’t think that the left intends to go easily, or perhaps more correctly, I don’t think that the god of the left has any intention of cooperating. The godless element has had a taste of power and decency needs all of our prayers in order to take root.

    1. They are not as powerful as they think they are, and certainly not as well liked as they think they are. All it took was one leader to stand up to them, and they folded like a cheap camera.

If they really think the America people *want* open borders, same-sex pseudomarriage, political correctness, high taxes, an all-powerful federal government, and brain-dead movie stars lecturing us around the clock, they’ve got another think coming.

    2. Spot on. And with President Trump’s friend, Peter Diehl, who is considering running for Governor of California, obama’s CALEXIT support will pass the torch as well. (Although, personally, I wouldn’t miss California anyway; notwithstanding the fact that it’s dangerous to lose such a big border state to our enemies).

    3. I truly hope that they are vanquished forever.

That having been said, I don’t trust California in the least. I drove I-5 from the Oregon border to the San Fernando Valley less than two years ago and the agricultural aspect of the place is in a shambles from the combined effects of drought and a liberal government who’s water policies are purely based upon environmentalist ideology. Driving past mile after mile of dead orchards leaves quite an impression.

They would have been bankrupt as a state, had Obama not bailed them out, and I’m certain that Trump will not further that nonsense. Will that force Sacramento to accept reality for the first time in decades, or will they go further afield?

  4. President Trump is giving us new executive and judicial branches of government. THIS is why we the people must give Trump, and ourselves, a brand new Congress; one that will work WITH him and FOR us. We also must start on the local and state levels to clean the swamps under OUR control. Our work has just begun. And we must always remember that everything President Trump does for us is a gift from God. Thank you, Jesus!

  5. While I would hope things were as they seem, and while I don’t wish to be a naysayer, there are a couple of things we should be looking at here. During his inauguration speech, I heard some eerily familiar statements. They are:

WE WILL make America STRONG again.
WE WILL make America WEALTHY again.
WE WILL make America PROUD again.
WE WILL make America SAFE again.
WE WILL make America GREAT again.

Sounds way too familiar. Isaiah 14:12-15
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

    Really? The 5 I wills?!

Also, as he was thanking the American people he also thanked ‘the people of the world’. Really?!

Let us not forget that Satan comes disguised as an angel of light.

Believe me, I’m not saying Hillary should have been elected. God Forbid! What I am saying is, please everyone, watch and wait for Jesus told us that –

Matt. 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

2 Cor. 11:14-15: And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

I’m bracing myself for the comments this will most likely generate, but please remember that Donald J. Trump is NOT our Messiah. Please just be careful.

    1. Well stated, Linda. I’m all for the things Trump intends to do, and I’m willing to believe that he may play a part in the outworking of God’s will, but he is not our ultimate deliverer.

Let me use the Reagan years as an example. I believe that Reagan saved the U.S. from becoming a third world toilet. I have believed this for many, many years. My life improved during the Reagan years, as did the lives of many working class people. I consider these years a blessing from God.

But Reagan served his two terms and was succeeded by men, perhaps well-intended, but lacking, to a great degree, Reagan’s vision with regard to the power of a truly free people. The benefits lasted for roughly 20 years past his administration, but then they crumbled.

My hope is that Trump is here to create a certain situation which will further the purposes of our God. So far, it makes sense that he is standing up for Israel, standing up for freedom and standing up for America. But I’m not so bold as to,suggest that this is a lead pipe cinch.

The ultimate savior and ruler has yet to return.

    2. And until He does, we have work to do!

Let’s not be like the guy in the story who had to flee to his rooftop because of a flood. Along came someone in a rowboat and offered to take him off, but the man said, “Never mind, the Lord will save me.” Then came a helicopter, and they offered to take him off with a rope ladder; but he said, “Never mind, the Lord will save me.”

Then the waters rose higher and he drowned. And when he got to Heaven, he asked God, “Lord, why didn’t you save me?” And God said, “What do you mean? First I sent a rowboat and then I sent a helicopter.”

    3. Oh, I agree completely. Even salvation boils down to opportunitythat must be put to use. Trump will have no resistance from me as long as he remains true to his stated goals. I’m enthused, but trying to keep my hopes on the ground.

    4. You’ve got to remember how great anyone would look, after Obama. And compared to Hillary.

Permit us some exhilaration after eight years of getting rained on by incompetent and wicked liberals. We’re used to being governed by jaw-flapping dolts who never keep any of their promises and don’t know how to do anything except waste our money–and that’s the ones who are actually better than the Democrats.

Linda, you’ve got to let us enjoy this while we can.
