Young Readers Wanted

Image result for images of happy teens

I’m always looking to widen my readership: wish I knew how to do it on purpose.

Although surprisingly young children, as well as adults of all ages, seem to like my Bell Mountain books just fine–and believe me, that does make me happy–I did write the books for a target audience of 12 to 15-year-olds. And it would very much please me to welcome more of you guys to this blog.

And invite you to comment, too. Young minds can be surprisingly sharp. And some of us old folks just plain enjoy your company.

WARNING. (If the “Warning” notice doesn’t fetch ’em, I don’t know what will.) It’s often necessary, here, to venture into topics that are by their nature kind of revolting, and certainly distasteful. It’s because I consider it my duty to keep track of, expose, and discuss what the culture-killers are doing. I believe this is often described as “mature subject matter,” although it mostly refers to the activities of rather immature persons. So I think I’ll have to give my own blog a PG-13 rating. If you’re 11 years old and your folks say you’re not ready for this content–well, they know what they’re talking about. But you ought to be able to handle it by the time you’re 15.

Anyway, teens, my welcome mat is out for you, and the door is always open.

  1. “The Surgeon General has concluded that participation in this blog by 12-15 year olds could cause anguish to parents.” That should do the trick. 🙂
