We wonder why public school “educators” are always so hot to trot for sex education–and the younger the children in the classroom, the more eagerly the educators swing into action. It’s because what they like to call “sex education” is a sacrament of a false religion, secular humanism. The other humanist sacraments are sodomy, transgenderism, abortion, and assisted suicide.
Another big question is why parents, even Christian parents, continue to allow believers in that false religion to educate their children, day in, day out, and year after year.
Rather large books can be, and have been, written on this subject. This is only a blog post. It’s my way of urging parents and families to stop subjecting their children to public education.
Years ago, I worked most days as a substitute teacher at a public high school, called in to teach any and all subjects with only one exception–sex education. No substitute was ever called in for that. If the teacher was absent, an assistant principal had to supervise the class.
To keep parents from ever knowing exactly what was being taught, the textbooks were never allowed to be taken out of the classroom. Students complained that this made it hard for them to study for tests and quizzes, but that was the policy and the administration was not about to change it.
A student or a teacher in a public school can fall into a world of trouble by openly expressing any kind of faithfulness to Christian teaching. “You can be a boy one day and a girl the next, depending on how you feel.” This is, increasingly, what is being taught.
The Coalition of African-American Pastors, just to name one of many groups of concerned citizens and Christians, has warned that this kind of indoctrination is not going to go away, it is going to be made more intense as time goes by, and if we leave it alone and do nothing to stop it, our society will be severely damaged by it.

Sex-Ed was a huge issue when it first started to be adopted, back when I was in school. While some parents seemed relieved to no longer have to handle delicate subject matter with their own children, those same parents lost control of the moral context of such teaching. There were some parents that would object strenuously if any mention was made of sexual morals. (I recall one parent in our neighborhood who was adamant about sexual liberty. He sons grew up with a stepfather that kept hair core pornography and they were exposed at a young age. I wonder whatever became of those guys.)
Ultimately, there is a matrix of resistance to the family. Economic hardships strain marriages to the breaking point and require two incomes. Children are sent to daycare from an early age and deprived of the loving care that they would receive were they with family members all day. Children are forced to go to government run schools and away from their families for hours every day.
How about a system where families have more time together? How about a system where the family works together and children learn from an early age by helping their parents? When agriculture was dominant in our economy, that is exactly what happened. Children of that era didn’t need a gang in order to have a place where they fit in. They had an important role in the operation of the family’s means of support. When they ate supper, they were probably eating food they had planted, harvested, stored and/or prepared themselves.
We lost a lot when we became so heavily industrialized.
The family and the church are the two main bulwarks against the tyranny of the State. That’s why the State works so hard to destroy families and stifle the church.
Look what it did in the Soviet Union.
Or, to put it another way, it was the family and the church that finally did in the Soviet Union. That and the inherent folly and wickedness of the whole enterprise.
