Thanks, Everybody

Well, at least I got a lot of nice birthday greetings today–from you (now how do I say this without sounding pompous?). You know who you are! So I just wanted to post my thanks, rather than leaving a comment that some of you would miss.

Things didn’t much work out today, although I did finally get back across the mountains in time to help First Prester Orth with what’s going to turn out to be a kind of missionary work he least expects to undertake.

And would you believe it? The whole subplot just popped into my head as I typed that last sentence. Wow! The day turned out good, after all.

  1. Well, it was all worth it in the final analysis.

Believe it or not, you are having warmer weather in NJ than we are having in Arizona, so there’s another blessing to count. Maybe the FexEx driver will get a canker sore. 🙂

  2. Happy Birthday once again, Lee. Glad to hear it turned out well – even if it had a bit of a rough start.

I’m anxiously awaiting publication of your new book. My usual book consumption is non-fiction, so your books are truly a welcome change. In fact, yours are the only fiction I read!

Blessings and a peaceful night to you and Patty. I do hope her plant recovers.

      It’s the same with me.

  3. I, too, am glad things worked out well for you at last. It’s not just missionary work (as with First Prester Orth) but also blessings that come when you least expect them, no? Many happy returns of the happy end of the day!
