I can hardly bear to read the news anymore, let alone report it. My only comfort lies in the realization that it would all be infinitely worse, had Hillary Clinton won the presidency.
You don’t need me to tell you things are going south, big-time. Just yesterday there was some kind of world-wide computer hack that shut down hospitals and other vital services in dozens of countries. For those who insist that the words of the Old Testament prophets apply only to the ancient kingdoms of Israel and Judah, I can only answer, “Read the news again.”
God has not yet commanded us to refrain from praying for our country, as He commanded Jeremiah not to pray for Judah. So I think we should pray, and pray hard. Because our sins are indeed withholding good things from us. I mean, we shower honors and praise on lost souls who have themselves surgically mutilated and demand we now acknowledge them as women, who were born–and still are–men.
O Lord Our God, exert your strength on us and turn us away from our follies and our sins! Lead us, O Lord, back to sanity. Heal our madness, and bless us with the spirit of repentance. Because we have become addled beyond our own power to recover from it. As a God who delights in mercy, have mercy on our nation, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I pray for our country every day, especially Psalm 80, but also, “Save us from those who would destroy us in body or soul. Save us from the enemy within and without. Save us from ourselves.”

Heavenly Father, please send the Holy Spirit to hover over and all around us to shine the light of Your truth in the dark places. Let there be a new awareness among the people of the seriousness of the conditions we are in as individuals and as a nation. As your people of old, may we be alerted to the seriousness of turning away from You, and fill our hearts with a holy fear, for only the fear of God brings wisdom. In Yeshua’s holy name, amen.

Our nation has degraded from within. It is a moral and spiritual decay which has brought the US to its current state. People have abandoned the morality of God’s word and seek to take the moral high ground by literally worshipping the earth and promoting Godless practices in the name of inclusiveness and plurality. So the nation slips ever further into darkness.
With regard to the Hebrew Scriptures, I feel that my eyes have opened since I abandoned Replacement Theology which relegates Israel into a people abandoned by God. Once I realized that this wasn’t so, all of the Hebrew Scriptures came alive for me and these prophecies give meaning to our day.
Erdogsn recently issued a call for Muslims to take the Temple Mount. It would appear that Gog of Magog is shaping up.
Amen. Come quickly Lord Jesus.
