A Hideous Torture

It’s 5 a.m. and you’re asleep. Well, you were asleep–until your cat decided that was enough sleep for you. And what cruel and ingenious, but very simple, method has he concocted, to force you out of bed? Is there no limit to the torments a feline mind can conceive?

Oh, yes, they have minds, all right. Never, never doubt it.

  1. I absolutely LOVE this cat! Ingenious! I’m not so sure about the person’s mental abilities though. Wouldn’t it be a simpler solution to let the cat in to begin with? Also, there’s a bonus – cats are wonderful snugglers 🙂

    1. They’re like children! Even my Pit Bull slept with me. She got in the middle, crawled under the covers, turned around, crept back up – covers still on – and put her head on the pillow 🙂

  2. That’s a clever little feline.

My cat insists on sleeping right next to me. Many nights begin with her head on my shoulder. If I roll onto my side she lays behind my legs. If I move, she comes up next to my head in order to see what’s wrong. If I get out of bed she plants herself right where I was lying, making it difficult for me to go back to bed. When I wake up in the morning, she’s right there, purring and snuggling. She’s a good little companion.

  3. haha, and I thought my cat was the only that did this wake up trick. Only trouble is, he has no regard for time of day or night. He gets bored and decides it is time for me to roll out.

  4. That is one clever cat!

Cats do NOT like being locked out of anywhere. The world belongs to them.
