Gov. Moonbeam’s Very Own Foreign Policy

Wow! California Gov. Jerry “the Brainless Wonder” Brown is in Peking, cobbling together his own foreign policy with Red China. (Note: I deliberately use old-fashioned terms. “Bay-Zhing” is an affectation, and China is still communist de jure if not altogether de facto.)

California, says the Great Moonbeam, refuses to go along with America’s choice to withdraw from the U.S. economy-killing Paris Climate Pact, so he’s gonna buddy up with the Chicoms to Save The Planet (https://www.yahoo.com/news/china-rolls-green-carpet-california-climate-040039702.html). The fact that China is the biggest polluter in the world rolls right off his back.

“We are not moving at the pace needed to prevent catastrophe,” babbled the governor. Meanwhile the nooze media cried real tears over the U.S. “handing China the mantle in the battle against Global Warming.”

Get it? Growing the government to a level of power and intrusiveness never seen before, and taxing everybody’s pants off, will make the global climate nice again. And we can trust the communist government of China to really cut way, way back on their pollution.

Jerry, oh, Jerry! What a huckleberry. Ask someone to give you a knife so you can cut out a slab of Peking’s air and bring it home to California.

Be very, very afraid of the feckless loons who govern the nations of the world today. Not to mention the kooks who govern states.

  1. Much of California is now a wasteland, unable to support crops, etc. because of the environmental policies in place. There is talk of coastal California forming its own state, which would be fine by me. Let them have the things they seek. I doubt that they’ll like it once they get it.

    1. Jerry Brown is an idiot. And I’ve heard similar talk, Unknowable, but that California would like to secede, thereby becoming its own country. I say – go for it! The remaining 49 (or 56 if you’re oh-bah-mah) would be better off without that burden upon us.

By the way, this morning I saw an article referencing affluent “Gayborhoods” replacing neighborhoods. I couldn’t bear to read it. The subject matter was enough for me. Evidently, this nation hasn’t fallen far enough yet for progs and pc-ers.

    2. I wonder if I ought to spare you all the news item posted on my chess page today. I’d kind of like to spare myself, too.

    3. It’s difficult to fathom what else they can come up with, but I don’t doubt that they’ll continue to bombard us with their insanity – as ‘Rome’ burns.

  2. Governor Moonbeam seems unaware that under the terms of the Paris document, China not only doesn’t have to start reducing its pollution until the 2020s but is allowed to INCREASE its pollution until then, so when it does (supposedly) do the required decreasing, the result will still be more pollution than it has now — which is substantial. But it doesn’t matter, since China is the Great Communist Utopia Which Can Do No Wrong.
