Cats Do the Darnedest Things

Remember when I said it was cats, and not Mt. Vesuvius, that did in Pompeii–and you didn’t believe me? One scene in this video might make you change your mind.

Some of the actions of some of these cats seem ill-advised; but then we don’t know what the cats thought of them, do we?

    1. LOL! I thought so too 🙂 That one made me laugh the hardest. A couple were a bit ‘ouchy’ – running into glass doors and trying to jump through mirrors.

    2. 🙂 It took me a minute before I could even hit play, I was laughing at the introduction kitty with his head sticking out of the box. Some of the antics remind me of some of my cats.

    3. That’s so true! And nearly anything will suffice as a cat toy – a paper grocery sack, an old box – even a sock tied in a knot (especially if there’s catnip inside). Cats rule! 🙂

    4. . . . or even occasionally, the hand that pets you. Just before leaving on my trip, I reached over to pet my little cat and she grabbed my forearm, refusing to let go. Right now, she’s spread eagle, flat on her back, under the ceiling fan.

    5. Awww – that’s so sweet and sad at the same time. She loves you, and she knew something was up. Now she’s happy and content, realizing that you really did come back 🙂

(Computer is so slow today – pages are taking a long time to load. Frustrating, especially since I have no clue how any of this works lol)

    6. Poor Lee. It looks like the cat people have taken over his post lol

  1. You’re right about that. I’ve been getting the royal treatment ever since returning home. She spends considerable time either lying on top of me, or next to me and purring profusely.
