A software design company has offered to implant microchips in the hands of its employees (http://kstp.com/news/wisconsin-company-to-implant-microchips-in-employees-three-square-market/4549459/), and over 50 employees have already consented.
Displaying a total absence of thought, the CEO said, “It’s the next thing that’s inevitably going to happen, and we want to be a part of it.” The shallowness of that comment takes one’s breath away. Talk about big things done for little reasons…
Anyhow, the microchip is supposed to make life super-easy. “I’ll hold my hand up,” said the CEO, “just like my cell phone, and it’ll pay for my product.” ‘Cause it’s just so unbearably strenuous to take some cash out of a wallet.
And best of all, we have his word for it that the chips will be “both encrypted and secure.” Uh-huh. Really, aren’t we a bit too old to believe in fairy tales?
Someday the whole world is going to discover that computerization ain’t quite what it’s cracked up to be. And a lot of people are going to be really, really mad that they were led so far down the garden path.
Sheesh! I can’t believe that anyone could be so stupid as to go along with this.
When I read about this earlier today, I was struck by how easily deceived and roped in the masses really are, falling headlong into the devil’s hand. People are always looking for the next new thing.
Every day we’re a little closer to The Lord’s coming. Events around the world – including prophesied weather events and sea life dying – all point to fulfillment of Bible prophecy regarding the last days.
People are so biblically illiterate, or they don’t believe what they read, that they can’t or won’t put the puzzle pieces together – at their own peril.
The Bible is not fantasy. Prophesy isn’t allegory. It is God breathed.
My constant prayer is that the lost be found, the sleeping awaken and the backslidden return and repent. Time is growing short, and ignorance is NOT bliss, at least regarding salvation and eternity.
And none of those employees questioned what information about them might be gathered through these microchips, or what kind of instructions might be transmitted through them?
Are we sure this isn’t a hoax … or a science-fiction movie trailer?
No problem! It’ll all be encrypted and secure. Nothing can possibly go wrong!
If nothing can go wrong with computers then my day should be a breeze. It isn’t!
But who holds the key to the encrypting algorithms? I suppose no one asked about that, either, right?
It’s not technically “The” Mark yet, but possibly a precursor. It doesn’t officially become The Mark until the false prophet implements it around the final 3-1/2 years. Putting a chip under your skin in and of itself is not an unpardonable sin. There has to be something unique with the Mark or possibly some sort of oath associated with it that makes it a damnable offense. Regardless, doing this will make it that much easier to take the actual Mark. Not to mention privacy concerns and the loss of anonymity are good reasons enough not to do it.
