It is said that T.S. Eliot had a cat that could not only stand up on its hind legs, but also tap-dance to Oh, Them Golden Slippers. We don’t have to believe that. But here we have living proof–real, bona fide video of cats walking tall like human beings. And they’re a lot better at it than we are when we try to walk on all fours.
Until I got my present cat, I would not have believed it, but now, I see it
happen from time to time. Whenever he wants to see something a little
better, he simply stands up like this and walks around and looks into whatever it is.
I’ve never had a cat that did that. My iguana used to, though, when he was little.
That would be a sight to see.
My cat never does that, unless she is actually reaching for something, usually my hand, in order to get me to pet her.
Don’t you just love the cat walking backwards on two legs? Fantastic!
I wondered just what he was doing.
Me too. He reminded me of a cartoon 🙂
