Erlene requested this worship song, which was played at her wedding (if I remember correctly what she told me!)–The Prayer, by Josh Groban.
If I were getting married today, I’d be hard put to pick one hymn for the occasion.
Which one would you pick?
This was not the only hymn played, but was one which brought tears to the eyes of some of the guests. We were becoming a ministry team in addition to a married couple. I really miss those ministry opportunities we had and all the wonderful people we met, most of whom are still friends across the miles.
In our small way, Erlene, you and I and all of us here are making this blog a ministry… if God wills it.
My wife & I were married in a small church with just family present – no music. If I could choose a song to be sung it would be “The Lord’s Prayer” by Andrea Bocelli.
The Bocelli rendering of the prayer is a great blessing too.
I agree, Lee. Whatever contribution we can make for the Kingdom is well worth while. Prayers of intercession are a large part. Still praying for Ray.
Thanks, Erlene–he needs it.
Thank you Lee and Erlene. This one is deeply moving.
My prayers continue also Lee.
