I’m Sick Again

I had a terrible night last night, and this morning isn’t going to win any prizes, either. Allergies, allergies! These attacks always seem to happen on the weekend. *Sigh*

I dassn’t go to the nursing home today: they might not let me back out. I’m trying to post a hymn and Patty is reading me news stories about more two-legged cockroaches who despise America but don’t have the courtesy to pack up and leave. And a Global Warming-happy atheist was moved to check in with some blasphemy. I had to dump him into the trash bucket. I don’t know why they bother. Something to do with inborn inferiority, I guess.

So I feel sick and I feel angry and I’d been hoping for a nice mellow weekend–although I must say the adrenalin rush from getting deeply cheesed off seems to have done me a little bit of good. I’m sorry, but sometimes these leftid schmendricks try my patience most grievously.

Maybe a nice cigar will calm me down.

  1. I know we’re supposed to pray for those who curse us (“bless and do not curse”), but it’s hard to pray for some schmendricks without lapsing into curses. I once told my pastor that I simply couldn’t bring myself to pray for Yasser Arafat, and he said, “Just pray that he quickly receive what he so richly deserves. Leave it up to God to decide what that might be.”

On the positive side, your adversity may have laid your body low, but it’s heightened the entertainment value of your satiric prose. 🙂 So you win. Meanwhile, I’ll pray for your comfort, consolation, and rapid recovery. May God bless and heal you, in Jesus’ name, amen.

  2. Praying for you, too, Lee. Today is “Day of Atonement, so thank the Lord
for His love and care and His healing and salvation.

  3. What helped me most was giving up cow milk and wheat in any form. Many allergies are suppressed when these two main ones are handled. If you go without for three days and then reintroduce them for one meal, (or have yourself tested, of course,) you should see whether you are allergic. Hope this helps you.

    1. Thank you. The thing about my allergies is that they seem to flare up every three weeks or so, and almost always on the weekend. I can’t figure it out.
