Cat and Iguana Are Friends

This doesn’t happen often, but it’s not unheard-of, either. My iguana used to cuddle with his two best buds, a big black cat and a feisty little schnauzer: the three of them in a heap on my bed, on a cold winter’s day.

This is an old iguana who’s been brought up properly and with affection, so he appears to enjoy the cat’s company. The cat’s well-behaved, too, but still a little shy. The two will grow closer, with time.

In a loving household, that’s what happens.

  1. The human in the video sounded as if she were kind and loving as well. Our Creator is a God of peace, and in the restitution of all things, we will see much more than this.

    Isaiah 11: Isaiah 11:6
    And the wolf will dwell with the lamb,
    And the leopard will lie down with the young goat,
    And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
    And a little boy will lead them.

    Iguanas and cats are not specifically mentioned, but I think it’s a safe implication. Besides that, iguanas being cold blooded will appreciate the warmth. 🙂

  2. My friend’s iguana and cat were great friends. Iggy loved to have the cat clean his face after he finished eating 🙂

  3. We have raccoons, moles, cats that all eat together and get along.
    The food is mostly tuna, canned cat food, dry cat food.
    None of these animals will eat this oddball bootleg made in China tuna though and now I won’t either.
    Not everyday is food put out because the animals still need to fend for themselves.
