Prayer Request: Linda

If you visit this blog regularly, you know Linda for one of our steadiest contributors, and you may be wondering why she hasn’t been here lately.

She has developed an affliction in her eye which makes it very hard to read the computer screen.

Well, we miss her and we want her back, so please join me in prayer. Our little cyber-family is small, and we all need God’s protection.

Oh Lord Our God, please be swift to help our sister and your servant, Linda, and heal whatever is wrong with her eye so that she can fellowship with us soon: in Jesus’ name, Amen. O Jesus Our Lord, we have asked this of the Father in your name. Please heal her, and let the glory be to God the Father Almighty. Amen.

  1. I rebuke this affliction and command it to leave our sister, in the mighty name of Yeshua, our Messiah. Yeshua You purchased our healing, and
we now receive it for Linda, in Your holy name. Amen.

  2. Jesus, Good Physician, we implore you to heal our sister Linda. We trust in your mercy and love. Amen.

  3. I also pray for Linda that she might be relieved of this affliction. Please, Lord, touch Linda’s eyes and heal them that she may bring praise and glory to your name in her healing. Thank you in advance.

  4. Thank you so much everyone. I’m blessed with such wonderful brethren in the Lord. He surely is listening and answering all of your prayers. There’s still some residual, but they’re improving – Praise God! and thank all of you. Hopefully, I’ll be back to normal before long.

It’s the strangest thing – has anyone else ever heard of this? First of all, I’m already light sensitive due to migraines, and this – whatever it is – has made that worse. Also, if you’ve ever looked out your window through a very tightly woven screen – that’s what I’m seeing – even with my eyes closed. Very strange. And it’s been difficult to read, whether on the computer or a physical book. No matter what I look at, I’ve been seeing everything through a screen. And with a lupus flare-up, I’ve been very weak and exhausted.

So, thank you all once again. You’re all precious to me and I truly appreciate your prayers and your fellowship.

    1. It’s good to see you her, Linda. Know that you’ve been in my prayers.

A few years ago, I suffered a mild concussion. For the next 12-18 months I had the occasional visual disturbance and it was not fun. Strangely, my overall vision improved thereafter.

Hang in. This too shall pass.
