You shell out ten, fifteen, twenty dollars for the latest fancy cat toy, and what do they wind up playing with? Pipe cleaner. Paper bag. Or, in this case, an ice cube. And whatever it is, inevitably it winds up getting batted under some furniture where the cat can’t get at it. As long as it’s not something sticky… or a piece of meat…
Cats are the ultimate entertainment machines. They can manufacture fun for themselves as well as for our amusement, and they don’t much care if there’s a price tag or not. 🙂
That was cute. He was having a lot of fun and the fully grown cat wasn’t about to be excluded. What beautiful and charming creatures.
One of the laws of nature, with a cat in the house, is that everything ultimately winds up under the refrigerator. 🙂
The ice cube is a clever idea, but it would be dangerous in my kitchen because of our tile floor. A little water on the tile and you are likely to take a big fall – no fun.
