Need a laugh? I do! The news has been just so awful lately…
I’m My Own Grandpa, possibly the most confusing song ever written, first became a hit in 1947 and has since been performed by many artists. This version is by Ray Stevens. I couldn’t find the Smothers Brothers singing it, but a lot of others did.
The really funny thing about this song is that it isn’t nonsense at all: it’s strictly logical. I am taking logic professors’ word for it.
Ha ha! I first heard that song when I saw Ray Stevens in concert in Branson. Years ago. Thanks for the laugh!!
One of Ray Stevens’ funniest – and the funniest thing about it is. . . it works! LOL
I’ve always loved this song — and yes, it does make sense, in a way! Thanks for the laugh.
Sounds like a plot from “Law and Order.”
I had forgotten this oldie, but this brought back memories with a laugh included.
