Where Have I Been All Day?

We have this computer and the laptop, and they both were a mess this afternoon. I can’t even try to explain what was wrong with them. The only thing they had in common was that Firefox didn’t work on either one and both had Malwarebytes going postal on us. Everything else went wrong with them, too.

So let me say this now, in public: my wife is the smartest person I know. She wrestled with the bloody things and finally got them back to normal. All self-taught, to boot. Go to the head of the class, Patty. You da man… so to speak. I have no idea how she does it.

So, we’re back in business, at least until the next computer gehenna. Anybody interested in hooking his or her brain up to a great big master computer somewhere? Any takers?

  1. Yay, Patty!

And I haven’t seen one of those “Go To The Head Of The Class” games in ages. I remember playing it a looooong time ago.

  2. I use the computer for writing, otherwise I am on my iPad – iPads are the wonder of the modern world!! My iPad is so fast I sometimes wonder what website page I am on it gets there so fast. With my mind beginning to fail me when it comes to details, my iPad is my backup. It really comes in handy when playing along with “Jeopardy.” I use the stop button on my remote before a contestant can give the answer to see if my computer brain can download it for me. That Alex Trebeck amazes me how flawlessly he concucts the show (and he is older than me). I often wonder if he gets to study all the questions and answers ahead of time.
