A Bodacious Bird

This cockatoo barks and whines just like a dog. If you didn’t see him doing it, you’d swear it was a dog.

Of what use is this in nature? Search me. These birds do this because it’s fun!

  1. Parrots are such intelligent birds, and they’re usually quite hilarious. They seem to favor imitating other animals – mostly cats and dogs

  2. Amazing. I had never heard a bird do this kind of “talk”. My grandparents kept several tropical birds in a sunroom in their home, and they were pretty vocal at times, but not like this.
