Okay, tell us again: “We send our sons and daughters to these colleges because _______.”
Student Life, the campus newspaper at Washington University, St. Louis, has just published its annual “sex issue,” featuring nude photos of “dozens” of students, according to the College Fix (http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/42613/). “Several struck sexually charged poses.” The issue also offered “useful sexual advice,” including “very specific moves during oral sex,” and “celebrates intersectional feminism,” whatever the hell that is.
Higher education. Hot dog.
I’m not going to open the link to the issue. Being a cultural watchman does not entail being a voyeur. Besides, I’m not a college student anymore.
As for a picture to illustrate this post, I think I’ll opt for a picture that doesn’t illustrate it. And just so you know, it’s not always easy to find a decent picture. You have to traverse a minefield of pornographic images which seem to be thrown into the mix for no reason at all.
Our colleges and looniversities are killing our culture; and one of these days, it’s going to kill us back.
Unless we first de-fund them. The sooner, the better.
The picture you chose is a wonderful example of God’s stuff – nurturing and caring.
As for the ‘fill-in-the-blank’ – my answer: we’re fatheads.

As you’ve so often stated, God’s stuff works.
Those birds honor their Creator by the instinctive wisdom He imbues upon them. This demonstrate order and happiness. They do what needs to be done and make the most of their opportunities. They work hard to insure the survival of their young. They face challenges and threats, but they never seem to give up and the world is more beautiful for their presence.
If only the human race would do as well.
Those students who agreed to pose nude and think it’s cool and fun will think differently when the pictures surface later in their lives and wreck their attempts at careers and relationships. Of course, today’s students have little idea what careers and relationships are all about anyway, but the pictures certainly aren’t going to help.
What was it that Our Lord said about millstones and being thrown into the sea as punishment for those who lead these little ones astray? (Rhetorical question.)
Meanwhile, their mentors are applauding them.

“Intersectional:” Are’t new words suppose to be added to the English lexicon because they are picked up by people in a natural way that catches on, instead of ivory tower knuckleheads with too much time on their hands inventing words we have no predilection for and then foisting them upon us.
