In the good ol’ days, ninjas were renowned for their ability to make impossible climbs. They also bumped people off for money, so they weren’t the good part of the good ol’ days. However, cats climb even better than ninjas and they don’t bump people off, no matter how much Fancy Feast you offer them.
A word to the wise: you might want to reconsider allowing that little kitten to shinny up your leg. When he grows up, that’s gonna hurt a lot.
I’ve been through the climbing the leg trick myself and can tell you that its no fun when the cat decided to try while you are wearing shorts. I discourage such behavior. 🙂
When Buster was a little kitten, I encouraged him to hop on my back so I could give him a nice horsey ride. He grew to be a very big cat with a fondness for jumping onto people’s backs. It gave us some anxious moments…
It loses its charm as they get larger. 🙂 Fortunately, my cat learned about shorts. She only did it once. I grabbed her off my leg, hissed at her and put her on the ground.
P.S.–My cats do seem to understand the difference between shorts and long pants.
