How this takes me back to Sunday school! Trust and Obey, lovely old hymn from 1887: I do wish I knew what choir this is, singing it so beautifully, so I could give them proper credit.
I have a feeling that if one truly can trust in the Lord and obey Him, one has accomplished very much.
Yes, it is a crying shame that hardly anyone today thinks it necessary to obey the Lord and His instructions. I know none of us are perfect, but we
could sure do a lot better in the obedience department. I think, one day, we will be very sorry that we did not make the effort. This “feel good” generation will not be feeling good then.
Lovely. Reminds me of Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
