Celebrities, most of whom I never heard of, are going postal over rap star Kanye West’s embrace of President Donald Trump (http://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/2018/04/26/celebs-attack-kanye-west-pro-trump-tweets-complete-freaking-lunatic/).
They think he’s crazy. West called on his audience to “reject groupthink” and declared, on Twitter, “We have the right to independent thought.” This inspired lots of cursing and name-calling from the Loving Left. One of his fellow rap stars accused him of acting white. None of the celebrities said he had a right to his opinion. You only have a right to have Rosie O’Donnell’s opinion.
Mr. West was hospitalized last year for exhaustion and sleep deprivation. He was keeping himself too busy. Count on the celebrities to use that against him.
It would, of course, be sheer disaster if people stopped thinking of themselves as members of Democrat client groups and started thinking of themselves as individuals instead. If they ever started making up their own minds, liberalism would be out of business in a heartbeat.
If Kanye West can make that happen, he belongs on Mount Rushmore.
This has become so much more than merely a difference of opinion or ideology. It has become a mental condition that clouds reason. And if you ask hem for ideas, they have none and resort to name-calling.

This seems to fit quite well what we are seeing all around us. It’s a delusion that seems to know no boundaries. Many people can not even imagine that others don’t share their opinions. Many people can’t distinguish opinion from fact. It is like a new Dark Age.
Our education system cultivates stupidity like a prize orchid.
Intentionally. A docile demeanor and obedience is what they’re after. An educated society is not conducive to compliance.
Go back 150 years in public education, and you’ll see they were after “docile and obedient” from the very beginning.
That seems to describe the educational system’s mindset quite well.

You nailed it, Linda. It is mind-blowing to me that any group of people
could have gone so completely bonkers. When I was young, in grade school, even though 90 percent of my class voted Republican (in the classroom elections) there were no nasty comments, no mindless name calling, just a very limited discussion. Satan has taken over large segments of the population and turned everything on its head. He does not allow civility or reason. His mission is to steal, kill and destroy. We have to admit, he is very good at what he does.

I think the 30% sales tax they dreamed up to fund the guaranteed basic income scheme rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.
There is so much hyperbole against someone merely by voicing their opinion. It’s okay to like or dislike Trump, but I doubt few of them could give a logical argument to support their beliefs without resorting to name calling and character attacks. They believe it because everyone around them believes it, or because they are parroting something someone else has said. Very few of them have researched it for themselves to find out if it’s true or not.
I support Donald Trump because the only alternatives to him were either Crooked Hillary or one of those Republican pygmies he flattened in the primaries.
The Left’s response to Kanye West’s tweets was so over the line you would think he said, “I have repented of my sins and I now believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I am giving half my money to the poor.” In the 2016 election, Trump only received 9% of the black vote. If blacks wake up and leave the Democrat plantation the Leftids will no longer be able to win elections (and what a happy day that will be).
