Let “the Lutheran Warbler” keep you company this morning as I vegetate in the doctor’s waiting room. All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name is one of my favorite hymns–and she sings all the verses.
Well, I made a hash of that. Tomorrow’s hymn will now appear today, and I’ll have to switch today’s hymn to tomorrow.
I pray for you a day of shalom. It is not fun sitting in waiting rooms of any kind. May the joy of the Lord be with you.
Thanks, Erlene–and with you, too.
Thank you, Lee. Any hymn any day – they’re all a blessing every day.
If you would be so kind as to add to your list “Blessed Be The Lord God Almighty” by the Maranatha Singers.
And I thought this worth sharing. A very touching story:
Maybe as a bonus hymn today
Thank you, Lee. I woke up with my mind singing it this morning.
I hope a lot of people watch this video. The story fills me with awe.
Me too, Lee. Maybe you could make it a separate post to be sure more of us see it.
Not sure I know how.
It’s on YouTube. If you search for the title it should come up, or as you play it from this page, in the right lower corner takes you to the youtube video.
I’ll try it tomorrow. Gotta get back to my book now.
I have ordered the computer [3-minute laugh break] to publish this video at 9:04 tomorrow morning. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if it does.
Happy writing! 🙂
Excellent. Hopefully it will bless everyone who watches.
As far as telling the computer to do anything like scheduling a task, you’ve got me there! I would have absolutely no idea how to do it lol
Oh, WordPress makes it easy! [11-minute laugh break]
I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room at my dentist office – I was immediately led to the torture chamber. After I was shot with numbing juice I was left reclined for a long time before the big event – drilling. Glad to be home and have the pleasure of listening to the Lutheran Warbler.
Ugh! Sometimes I think the high pitched whirring sound of a dentist’s drill is worse than the actual event. That sound just goes right through me!
She grows on you.
