When I listened to this story, the closest thing that came to mind was Job. This man’s life should serve as a shining example to all of us, and a reminder that Jesus is our true Friend. My eyes well up as I listen, not only for the pain this man suffered, but for his utter trust and dependence upon The Lord. Beautiful.
What an amazing story.
Life in this world is a trial. St. Paul had his thorn in the flesh. John Calhoun had all his children die in childhood. The world is not our home, because our true home is in Christ Jesus.
What a blessing to listen to this short documentary
