I don’t know what the bunny was doing in the bathtub in the first place, and I don’t think he did, either. By a happy accident, he discovered the pleasure of taking a shower–demonstrating an ability to adapt almost instantly to an unexpected situation. It takes a lot of intelligence to do that. History’s full of generals who couldn’t do it.
What a cute little fellow! Animals adapt well to our world, even though virtually nothing we do is part of their natural experience. It’s almost as if some Higher Intelligence made them that way. 🙂
I’m not sure that this little guy was thrilled about water pouring on him. It appeared to me that he merely tolerated his predicament and at least took the opportunity to wash his little face 🙂 The person behind the camera was obviously monitoring the situation. I’m certainly no expert in bunny body language, so I’m hoping our resident bunny expert will shed some light on this for us. Say, Dave – what do you think? Do bunnies like the water? This is quite interesting.
I would agree Linda. I’ve had rabbits before, and they generally do not like getting wet. Also, the bath is very slippery and he\she could hurt itself. Rabbits don’t need baths because they do I fine job of grooming themselves.

I can’t say what he is saying, but he reminds me of the first time my Siamese cat slipped off the edge of the tub while I was taking a bath. He looked a bit upset, but still trying to say, “oh, I meant to do that, isn’t this fun”
Yes, that’s the cat “Hey, I’m cool” act. They hate to admit they were surprised.
Watchman is correct, bunnies don’t like baths. It was wrong of the owner to use a bathtub as a pen/cage – too slippery.
