Cats can hide just about anywhere. I don’t know why, but that reminds me of the time we smuggled our rats into a rented beach house in a cooking pot. They were on vacation with us.

In fact, I did have urgent business elsewhere; my cat and I were having a nap together in my easy chair. Any business involving that particular cat is urgent. There are no spectator activities in her world, only participation sports, and even taking a nap together on a spacious chair can be strenuous. :).
