Americans are producing and buying more goods and services than they have for a while, and as a result, our country’s second-quarter Gross Domestic Product is up 4.1% and more and more of us are achieving prosperity (http://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/399324-american-prosperity-of-trump-era-marks-real-turning-point-in-history).
“What terrible news!” laments the Democrat Party.
Democrat National Committee deputy assistant vice-chairperson Pinky Lenin predicted that the American people would “revolt against capitalist prosperity,” turn unanimously against President Donald Trump, and elect no one but Democrats this November.
“We don’t want prosperity!” said Lenin. “We want tent cities, human feces on the sidewalks, and universal free college tuition for everyone whether they want to go to college or not! We want Venezuela! We want Hillary!” [He falls to the floor, foaming at the mouth. Interview could not continue.]
I feel bad for Pinky Lenin. He’s so pitiful. Or is he one of your amazing creations?
He is a composite creation inspired by many Democrats.

It seems some Democrats want to see Trump fail even at the detriment of the US and when it doesn’t happen they wish it would be so just to make a point for their ideology.
If the only America they can rule over is a ruined America, they’ll gladly take it.
A ruined America means they will also push for power and control…that’s what I think it boils down for the Leftists’ leadership.
Power as an end in itself is everything to them, and there’s nothing else.
Power is their religion. Freedom is in their blasphemy codes.
The MSM’s response to the great good news of 4.1% GNP was: “It is not sustainable.” What a bunch of party-poopers. I think the Dems are planning to run Pinky Lenin for V.P. in 2020.
“It’s not going to last forever, so it’s really, really terrible to have it for a while!”
America needs for the Democrat Party to be put out of business forever.
Not to worry, I hear that the Democratic party will soon be the Socialist party. A name change would at least show some uncustomary honesty on their part. I was once a conservative democrat but that was a long time ago. I could not in good conscience remain one, seeing the direction it was headed in.
I think most of us were Democrats, once upon a time. It’s a phase. You outgrow it.
Sadly, my mom never did! She believes in every talking point and toes the party line without question.
Pray for her.
The more the better! She isn’t getting any younger, and right now she isn’t destined for a great place. It’s sad.
Y’know, my brother does that, too. He never outgrew college. It’s rather alarming to see how quickly he can jettison his core beliefs when the Party comes up with something new.
My mother claimed to be completely neutral, but at heart was a New Deal Dem’. She could not comprehend that people were egregiously exploiting various forms of public assistance with no interest in ever attaining self-suffiency. She saw attempts to place limits on this as mean spirited.
While she had a strong personal work ethic, she didn’t seem to think that the work ethic of others needed to be held to any such standards. In many ways, she hindered the development of my own work ethic, although I don’t think she ever realized that she was doing this.
The result was a distancing between two people who loved one another, but could not truly coexist in one another’s lives. Had I taken her advice. I’d be doing good to have two nickels to rub together.
“Somebody” once said, “If you aren’t a liberal when you’re young, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative when you’re old, you have no brain.
This has gone far beyond politics. It has become a diseased way of thinking.
The words of Isaiah come to mind, chapter 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
