Here’s a book review I did back in 2008–Not My Child: Contemporary Paganism and the New Spirituality by Mission America’s Linda Harvey.
The main thing that’s changed, over the eight years since this was published, is the near-frantic promotion of “transgender” by our pop culture bigwigs, so-called “educators,” and liberal politicians. They push it like their lives depend on it.
Why? What’s to gain by it? Search me.
St. Paul told us to arm ourselves against “spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). Ms. Harvey’s book stresses the point that spiritual wickedness, perpetrated by God’s enemies both natural and supernatural, is real.
As someone who covers the news every day, I’m convinced that’s true.
Yes, and it grows worse by the day (or hour). Kids are so easily conned by anything new and different, they are easy prey without really good, sound teaching from home that is continuous.

My attempt to answer, at leas in part: We had a similiar discussion here a few days ago wherein I suggested that the answer is purely satanic. We are made in God’s image and likeness. No other creature can make such a claim. Therefore, Satan hates humanity and wants to put an end to it one way or another. Transhumanism is the perfect vehicle. No male/female, no reproduction. No reproduction, no more humans. Throw in some artificial intelligence (talk about a contradiction on terms), and some artificial body parts, and you’ve got the makings of those who Jesus said would pray for death but would not find it.
I just have trouble believing there can be that many people consciously doing Satan’s bidding. Unconsciously, yes. Oh, yeah. I even think he probably likes it better that way.
But of course “proving” the demonic inspiration of a socio-political movement is probably more than I can do.
