I just saw the movie, Dinesh D’Sousa’s “Death of a Nation.” It really nails the left, alias the Democratic “Party.”

Marlene, take comfort in the intractable, incurable stupidity of “leaders” and “experts” who think they’re smart as paint. Most of these people couldn’t organize a softball tournament with only two teams in it, let alone a government capable of ruling the entire world.
The worst thing about it is that their clumsy, half-baked, ill-informed, maniacal efforts to carry out their plans will do a great deal of damage to a great many people who don’t deserve it.

R.J. Rushdoony predicted the Humanistic State is in the process of collapsing. He calls it having an optimistic eschatology.
I don’t know much about Rushdooney, other than he was a traditionalist who also embraces dominionism. I’m not interested in pseudo-intellectuals who dance around the literal meaning of pure doctrine to make a name for themselves by attempting to provide us with a new way of thinking about Christianity. It’s divergent from the pure Word of God and the Gospels of everything Jesus said and did. God told us to preach the gospels, not the Bible. As I said to God just before I opened my Bible for the first time: “This is just between You and me.” Only God can teach me what I need to know. While “optimistic escheatology” sounds sexy, it doesn’t support my salvation. And we all know “humanism” is not human. Thanks for giving me something to think about today, other than the usual bad news. I agree with what I perceive to be your position that it’s not all doom and gloom. But I also believe that it’s necessary to give someone an olive branch if you want to hit them on head with a stick.
I’m not sure what “dominionism” is… and I work for the ministry founded by Rushdoony. Because he stood tall for the Bible, there were a lot of people who tried to knock him down–usually with bad-sounding labels.
