Before I do anything else today, I want to post this prayer request for Allison and her family. You know her as “Weavingword,” a good friend to this blog.
I don’t feel like I ought to give the details of this situation. Please trust me when I say they need our prayers: there has been a suicide attempt, and the family is now being pressed very hard by the circumstances. That’s all I think I ought to tell, and I pray it wasn’t too much.
Please join in prayer. O Lord our God! Be refuge and strength to your servant Allison and her family: shelter them under your wings, uphold them by your strength, and bring them out from under this shadow. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Father, only You know the hearts and the trials of Your children. You also know that for some the burden is heavy. Please lift up Allison and her family in this time of extreme hardship, and help to lighten their burden as only You can, Father. In Jesus’ Most Holy Precious Name we come to You united in prayer. Thank You, Father. Amen.
