We know you’re a long way from being out of the woods, medically–so keep those prayers coming, everybody. We need each other’s prayers. We all do.
Something seems to be happening here, something good, that I never thought of when I started this blog: just some guy in New Jersey trying to advertise his books. But now we have much more than that–and give God the glory for it, because He’s the one who’s doing it.

For all of the misuses of the Internet, it is still an amazing tool. We have a community here which has formed Ad Hoc, mostly around shared values and an appreciation for fiction which is morally uplifting. This is far from unique, BTW, the Internet has brought people of like mind together many millions of times. It’s a form of fellowship and can be very, very good.
Just like the surgeon’s tools. They can do a lot of good, if used properly, but they could also kill, if they got into the wrong hands.
