City Asserts Man’s ‘Right’ to Spend Night in Women’s Shelter

If your town or city has anything like an “equal rights commission,” your town or city has too much money and needs its budget cut so that it can’t get into any more mischief like this.

The Anchorage Equal Rights Commission is trying to punish a women’s shelter for not allowing a drunken man, who insisted he is a woman, to sleep overnight in the shelter with the other women, many of whom are there to escape abuse and sexual assault: but at least they’ve dropped their charges against the shelter’s lawyer, who had the temerity to defend his client (http://mustreadalaska.com/anchorage-equal-rights-commission-drops-charges-against-lawyer/).

How much more of this do we have to take? How do you even talk to these deluded left-wing cretins?

Don’t bother trying to talk to them. Just shut them down.

This insanity has to stop.

And that’s all the news I can stand to cover today.

  1. When everyone lays claim to every imaginable “right” for themselves, they are likely doing so at the cost of the rights of others.

    1. That’s the problem. The answer isn’t the granting of rights by some sovereign state, it’s found in the Law of Love. If people would practice this biblically prescribed course we wouldn’t need the Anchorage Equal Rights Commission, or any of its peers.

    2. This is pure Canadian hogwash: calling on the government to “balance” some people’s rights against others’. This is what makes the Canadian human rights commissions such a travesty. Here, the law is only whatever some left-wing sack of garbage says it is on any given day.

    3. The genius of the American system of government was that it recognized rights as coming from God, not men. This is the system that defeated slavery and brought unheard of levels of civil liberty to its citizens. I am painfully aware that some individuals and some groups have suffered unfair treatment along the way, but we still have a much better life here than almost anyone at any period in time.

Commissions cannot grant rights, because our rights do indeed come from God and only from God.

  2. You can try to reason with people (God says to us to come and reason with Him) but if they are too far gone over the cliff of insanity we are just wasting our time. We are to pray for our enemies, and these wackos are our enemy. We are also to bless those who curse us – big order (Luke 6:28).
