Think how many times Doc Watson must have sung this hymn in public; and yet he’s still so moved by it, his voice almost breaks. What a Friend We Have in Jesus–and what a friend we need.
I’ve been taking it to him in prayer a lot, these last two days: my wife is having a very hard time with her breathing. Please unite your prayers to ours: O Jesus, thou Son of David–have mercy on us, and heal my wife. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen! I’ll be praying.
Father, in Yeshua’s name we pray in agreement. This dear lady needs a touch from your healing hand, and as we lift her up to You, we believe you are willing to touch her, able to totally heal her, and that you love her more than any human is able to do. Please touch and heal her now, in that precious, healing name of Yeshua/Jesus, amen.
Yes, Lord, amen! Thanks, Erlene. Please, everybody–we need your prayers.
Amen!!
One of the Bible’s most wonderful verses is when Jesus calls His disciples “friends” (John 15:15).
May Jesus have mercy on Patty and restore her breathing and heal her body and bring peace to her mind.
I love this song so much. You can never post it too often. This man can
really handle the guitar, too.
Well, he was Doc Watson, one of the all-time great bluegrass artists.
Just prayed for your wife
These past few days have been difficult for me as well. Amen to everyone’s prayers! We need our Healer and Comforter. In Jesus’ Precious Mighty Name we ask a healing touch, Father. Thank You. We love you.
I’ll keep praying!
