Don’t Forget the Comment Contest!

Just a little reminded that we’ve got a comment contest going here–shooting for 35,000, and we currently have 34,239. Unless the abacus jockeys at The Boston Globe are doing the math, that leaves 761 to go. And it would be nice to have a winner before the Christmas Carol Contest kicks off, the day after Thanksgiving.

This week’s viewership, for some inscrutable reason, is down, down, down–so it’s an ideal time to get on board the contest. Why does tchat make it it an ideal time to do that? I think because of Climbit Change. Or something.

Anyhow, the contest is open to all and the prize is mind-bogglingly fantastic.

  1. Lee, I’ve always liked cats, from the time I was the 4th of six children and we had a gray cat that we just called “the Mother Cat.” She had two litters a year (I think) and there were usually 8 kittens at a time.

In the last few years I’ve really come to love cats! And I’m still happily awaiting the arrival of two new kittens. But until I started reading your blog, I never knew cats could have so many facial expressions! That makes them even more loveable to me.

Thank you for enriching my life – again.

  2. That will be wonderful for someone. I don’t always get your posts in the proper place in my inbox. sometimes, the come in the promotion tab, sometimes the primary, and they say comments disabled. so, it will probably not be who wins, but for whoever it is, it will be good.

  3. Hello Mr. Duigon,
I was wondering if you could do something for me…
My mom has had cancer for almost a year now, and that has been taking a huge toll on her. But now she has to make some hard decisions as to the path to take, as the future looks very dark for her. And I was just wondering if you could do a post asking for prayer for her. Her name is Heather.
The doctors aren’t very optimistic about it, but God can work wonders.
    Thank you Mr. Duigon!

    1. Elijah, I’m praying for your mom and for you right now. May our Lord hold you both in His loving arms.
