Well, I now know the last page of His Mercy Endureth Forever, the last stop on the journey. Usually the Lord gives it to me in a burst, but this time He slowly pulled me into it. Like, I had the idea before I realized it was the idea I’d been looking for. I can’t honestly say when that realization came to me. It came quietly. I think it must have been yesterday sometime–that, or during my last night’s sleep.
Now I’ve got to get there, to that last stop on the journey. There are still a few points in the story that demand to be settled. I think I need to do it in about 20-25 more pages. I hope to accomplish it next week.
And yes, I will leave plot threads that will permit me to connect to a new book next spring. God willing.

Lee, I’ve been thinking about it for a while, but have now decided to order the complete set of Bell Mountain books. Anything I should know? I want to read them all in sequence and then decide how and when to distribute them, one at a time or all at once, to my 6 grandchildren (age 13 to 26), all in the same family. Is Amazon the best source?

Knowing what you are going to write is sometimes the hardest part, though. Once you’ve got the story worked out in your mind, it’s usually downhill coast to the finish. 🙂

Lee, I am learning about writing by reading your blog. I have been thinking about writing a book for a long time – autobiographical. The Good Lord has done some really amazing things in my life, and I think it might be encouraging to people. External events seem to be settling down somewhat, so the time to begin may be coming soon.
Get in all the practice that you can!

I just ordered the Bell Mountain series from Chalcedon! Ten books!
I think the set will make a great Christmas gift for my six grandchildren in Pennsylvania!
Besides that, when I set up my account with Chalcedon, I saw there was a 55-minute interview with Lee about how to write a book! It cost all of $1.69 and it downloaded instantly. Already listened to it. It’s a great primer for a wood-be author, like me.
I wonder if I ought to post that interview here. Who conducted it? (Maybe I’ve posted it already.)
