As I post this, Robbie, our big cat, is trying to squeeze herself into a cardboard box that would comfortably house a hamster.
Why do cats do that? The one in this video turns around to check to see if her hindquarters are bigger than they ought to be. Maybe some people ought to do that more often.

It’s a funny little quirk, but cats apparently need to feel enclosed. I’ve seen cats try to get into some really small spots.

It’s interesting how cats take an interest in boxes. Maybe it makes them feel comfortable.
