I have never in my life seen anything pushed like “transgender” is being pushed today. And it makes me wonder, “What’s next?”
We never get to a stopping place with “liberation”–which is what they call it when they want to mainstream sexual aberrations which used to be called, and with damned good reason, sins. There’s always something else. The moment they clinched “gay marriage” at the Supreme Court, they opened the throttle wide for “transgender.”
To be sure, there are other perversions they can work to normalize–I would rather not mention them by name–but it’s difficult to imagine how any of them could be any crazier than “transgender.” Remember, it’s always got to be something that appalls normal people: and then the fun lies in beating them over the head with it, day in, day out, until they finally give in and say it’s acceptable, and anyone who’s still against it is a Hater and mustn’t be allowed to earn a living. There must be something tremendously exciting about addling other people’s minds–to say nothing of subjecting them to the humiliation of having to say things they know are untrue. This is the kind of thing that makes a liberal’s life worth living.
So let me tell you what I think comes next.
They’re going to try to make it compulsory.
Look, it’s already sort of compulsory–you can be stripped of your job, publicly denounced, sentenced to “sensitivity training” or “rehabilitation”–if you were really an American, that should make your hair stand on end–just for saying the “wrong” thing or not saying the required thing. How big a step is it from forcing you to say you like and “celebrate” “gay marriage,” to forcing you to attend such an event? Not a big step at all, and we’re already at Step One.
Eventually the only place left to go will be to force people to undergo a “liberation” experience whether they want it or not.
And then our civilization totally collapses and an awful lot of people perish in the wreckage.
Because, you see, our intellectuals and politicians and judges aren’t really smarter than God.
Pray He puts them down before they can finish the job they’re doing on us.
As the old New Left (oxymoron?) used to say, the issue is never the issue; the issue is the revolution. Keeping people off-balance and fearful of each other is the way the left (or any tyrant) keeps power.
Lee, I know you like Theodore Sturgeon’s science fiction. Do you remember one of his short stories, “Mr. Costello, Hero”? It deals with this kind of thing, as I recall.

It is hard to believe there are that many people who want to mutilate their bodies to achieve a sex change. It seems most identifying as transgender have not taken the mutilation plunge (they may take hormones or get breast implants, etc, but not go all the way).
What I see as the next taboo being breached is the age of consent for sexual intercourse. 3rd world cultures have been pouring into our country for decades and many of them allow marriage to 12 year old girls. Mohammed consummated his marriage to Aisha when she was 9.

And that little 6 year old boy whose divorced psycho mom is in the demonic process of subjecting him to chemical castration. He told his father he didn’t want to be a girl. Mom’s rich, dad’s poor. Whom do you think is going to win?
We’ve seen things like this before. I know a man whose wife decided she was now a lesbian, and divorced him–and won custody of their two young sons, even though the boys told the judge they wanted to stay with their father. But the judge was in a social engineering mood…
Oi! I think i’ll take two toddies and go to bed myself, and maybe when I wake up this nightmare will be over. In biology class, we watched a video from conception to the breath of Yahweh. I could never, ever condone abortions. But the thought of all these potential little victims being born into this satanic hell on earth makes me think twice about China’s one child policy.
The moment they stop pushing something is the moment they become irrelevant, and they can’t let that happen. I have a few ideas what comes next. All you have to do is look at pagan cultures in times past (hint, follow the white rabbit). The question is how much are normal people going to take?
That may work to the good. When normal people have had enough, they may choose to reject ungodliness in a wholesale fashion.
I’ve seen a lot of people who ought to know better act like they know nothing at all.
There’s a lot of that going around.
Children are already being forced to embrace transgenerism, maybe with the ism’s hope that when they grow up they will, in fact, make it compulsory.
