Requested by Joshua–All the World Was Waiting, sung a capella by GLAD. Enjoy!
Okay, we’ve posted a lot of Christmas hymns for you today. Out here it’s raining, it’s dark, and Patty and I are still a little bit under the weather; so now we’re going to take a break and watch A Christmas Carol, the one with George C. Scott as Scrooge. I hope you’re all enjoying listening to this potpourri of Christmas music.
Interesting how the people of Judah were anticipating the Messiah when Jesus was born. When He didn’t end up flattering their egos, they rejected Him. Yet, with the amazing acceptance throughout history of the truth that He is the Messiah Who fulfilled all those numerous Old Testament prophesies, the Jews of today still reject Him.
George C. Scott does a good job in that version. And Charles Dickens did a good job in writing the story – what a great story!!
I always love it when one of the villains in my books finds redemption–and I never see it happening in advance.
I think I saw a different version of the movie, but it was pretty good.
We sang several Christmas songs in our church service this morning, but most are the ones already heard here.
Don’t worry, we can’t run out of Christmas hymns.
Thank you, Mr. Duigon!
