‘Frankly, I Have No Idea…’ (2014)

You won’t believe your eyes.

I thought you might enjoy this little collection of hinky photographs. I strongly suspect the picture of sharks swimming around the flooded department store is something less than genuine. But a few of the others are truly mystifying.

Any thoughts on how they got the tire around that tree, if they didn’t cut it?

  1. OK.

Car standing on nose? Could have happened.

Little red car smashed into Mediterranean tile roof? I dunno, but I have the urge to drop-kick Fiats whenever I see one, maybe someone actually did it. 🙂

Little red car in dumpster? Fine by me! 🙂

Dog on window sill? That’s why God gave it back legs. Just pull it back in the window.

Car smashed into a Denny’s? He was in a hurry for a Grand Slam breakfast. 🙂

The semi on the railroad track? Makes no sense, but people do stupider things every day, so I’ll buy it.

Flood = Real, Sharks = Photoshop.

Ford Explorer Sport Trac ramming bollard? I can’t see any way that could have really happened. I’m calling it Photoshop, but very good Photoshop.

Stove embedded in hood of Ford Explorer? Definitely Photoshop.

Actually, I suspect that most of these are edited, but quite skillfully so.

The semi is too small in proportion to the railroad track.

The stove has a different “color temperature” than everything else in the photo.

    The list goes on.
