Peter Thiel the billionaire (they are called “unicorns”) has started the 1517 Fund based on Martin Luther’s starting the Reformation. The purpose of the 1517 Fund is to give money to brilliant young computer scientists to forgo college and begin their entrepreneurial careers in building the 5G Internet based on blockchain architecture that insures our personal privacy on the Net.
Those kids can have no idea of what a gift they’re getting by being spared college.
That sounds like a great idea.
