Weird Cat Noises

Are these cats trying to tell us something? Or are they practicing to learn a foreign language? A lot of this is very soft language, so you’ll have to turn up the volume if you want to have any hope at all of translating it.

Haven’t a clue as to what the cats are doing, talking about, or trying to sing? I had a cat that made some pretty strange noises, but nothing like these.

Probably so. Cats never cease to amaze me. These two stray cats that moved in with us, love cuddling with the dog, and they talk to her, but I don’t see her trying to answer.

They can certainly make some interesting sounds. One cat I had possessed a range of vocalizations which ran the gamut from wild animal sound effects to some very tender little sound she’d make when she was content.
