Now I’m wondering, how can I un-see this?
Well, we did do better than Obama, in 2016, and a lot better than Hillary. But for as long as the Democrat Party continues in existence, it will be a breeding ground for preposterous and self-destructive policies, all shored up by “consensus” that suddenly becomes “hate” if it differs from what they demand.
It has just come to me that we’ll know we’ve passed the point of no return, and might as well sit down and write our nation’s epitaph, when “the polls” show a majority of Americans in favor of “free universal college tuition.”
I’d never sign off (as if we peasants were allowed to sign off on anything) on the universal free college thing. It’s a waste of money. But the universal basic income, at $1,000 a month, is tempting. “Now I’m wondering, how can I un-see this?” You can’t, and now neither can we. We can’t “un-see” them until they die because they’re still around orchestrating America’s “fundamental change.” They were only one day away, election day, from completing their plans. This 4-year and God willing 8-year setback has only resurged them to double down.
I pray that it’s their doubling down that does them in.
Now Pelosi has disinvited the President from giving his State of the Union Address. How does she get so many of those Democrat Reps go go along with her being obstinent? Everyone knows wall are effective, and that she and Shumer have voted for them in the past. Hey Nancy, “Build the Wall & Crime Will Fall.”
The Constitution requires the president each year to report on the state of the union. It doesn’t say where he has to be when he does it.
It’s easy for Pelosi to get Democrats to do low-class things. It comes naturally to them.
