What is nice about house rabbits is they are so quiet. Once, though, when we had two rabbits big enough to play outside, the bigger one nipped at the smaller one, and the smaller one let out a blood-curdling scream! I had no idea they were capable of such a thing.
Our rats used to do that as soon as we turned out the lights for bedtime. “Squeeeeeeeeak!” Then we’d turn the lights back on and they’d pretend nothing happened.
