My mother and my aunts used to sing this as they did their housework: this hymn breaks them back to me. Sweet Hour of Prayer, sung by Alan Jackson–you can feel it, can’t you?

  1. This speaks to me of my favorite time of day; the time when I can set everything else aside and just fellowship with the precious Lord. I really like this version of the song and I have the album.
